Bring an artwork to display.
Dress Vintage.
Join in the Peaky Blinders Stroll.

1921 the Walker was occupied by the NUWCM. A movement formed in the years following the First World War when thousands returned to unemployment and poverty in Liverpool.

Earlier in 2021 AUE and Independents Biennial Liverpool conducted a survey of artists livelihoods. Results showed artists struggled with mental health, low levels of work and welfare maintenance.

Organised by Good Practice Charter (GPC) working group member and AUE Lancashire Representative, Anthony Padgett.   The GPC sets a benchmark for artists’ working conditions.
