Covid-19 Risk Assessment

Updated: Jun 23, 2020

COVID-19 affects work and home life. The lock-down has resulted in cancelled work, home schooling children and shielding vulnerable family members.

As the lock-down measures are eased, AUE believe trade unions and employers can and must ensure safety of workers and limit transmission by working together .  AUE are working on an Health & Safety check list as part of the Good Practice Charter for Artists, that will include COVID-19 guidance.

Going back to work (whether in a studio, attending a meeting, carrying out a site visit, for example) means a substantial change in working conditions.

All workers have the right to be safe and healthy at work including freelance, self-employed artists.
